Training in palliative care

We are an authorised training centre for courses offered by the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC).

We also conduct The Rugnasahayak (Patient Assistant) Certificate Course of the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. Apart from the regular subjects related to basic health care, the students get additional exposure to palliative care.

Once they complete the course, the students can play an important role in medical institutions and also as caregivers at home.

Special workshops are held periodically to familiarise experienced doctors and paramedical personnel with palliative care.
