Home Care

Bringing care home

Our care does not end with discharge from the Centre.

When our patients are not in a position to return to the Centre for replenishment of their medicines, our home care team visits them at home.

Home visits help us understand the patient and the conditions at home better. This is also an opportunity for us to boost the confidence of the caregiver who looks after the patient at home.

At times, our OPD helps us spot patients, who need palliative care but cannot be admitted to the Centre. They too get home care.

Our home care team, usually comprising a doctor, a nurse, a social worker and a volunteer, caters to patients within a radius of 40 km of the Centre.
